As we approach the Jewish New Year, a season of renewal and reflection, we are proud to announce the official launch of Healing Havens. Our goal is simple yet profound: to end homelessness worldwide, beginning in our very own neighborhoods, by opening our hearts and doors to those in need.

Healing Havens are about more than providing shelter ~ they are about restoring dignity, safety, and hope. Whether someone is facing true homelessness or simply in need of a safe place to stay, Healing Havens work to match those in need with those who can help. It is a win–win exchange, for when you truly help another, they inevitably help you in return ~ often in unexpected and beautiful ways.

This is only the beginning. In the weeks and months ahead, our blog will share:

• Ways to Get Involved ~ how to start or support a Healing Haven in your own neighborhood.

• Why This Work Matters ~ stories and reflections on the urgency of the crisis and the hope we can create together.

• Tips for Hosts and Guests — practical wisdom to make each haven a safe, healing, and joyful space.

• Donor Opportunities — how to give and join a haven as part of a support team.

At its core, Healing Havens is about building true community. And true community happens when people come together with a shared purpose. We cannot think of a more important purpose than ending the tragic crisis of homelessness and creating spaces where love, safety, and renewal flow freely.

This New Year, let us begin again ~ not only for ourselves, but for our neighbors who need us most. One haven at a time, we can save lives, restore hope, and change the world.
